Descripción del empleo

Position Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Reports To: Sr. VP of Finance and Accounting

Pay: $125k/yearly + annual bonus of 15% base salary

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time

The Opportunity:

Identiti is adding a hands-on Accounts Payable Manager to lead our procure-to-pay operation and bring sharper visibility to cash across a growing, multi-entity, multi-division organization. Our business pays a large and diverse network of subcontractors, installation partners, material suppliers, and facility maintenance vendors, with significant spend tied directly to projects and work orders.

Today, our AP teams, processes, and systems vary across our legacy companies, and our Facilities Maintenance business brings its own pace and complexity. In this newly created role, you'll get to know the people and processes, then define the standards and best practices that take AP to the next level by centralizing processes, procedures, and systems, while overseeing AP for every entity, domestic and international.

This role is also the first step in our future-state finance organization. You'll centralize work that is currently spread across several people, including treasury cash-flow activity and Ramp corporate card administration, and you'll lead AP's transition to a shared-services model.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an analytical, independent operator: someone who can run a high-volume AP team day to day, build the cash-flow forecasting and cash conversion cycle analysis leadership relies on, and turn AP into a reliable, data-rich partner to the business.

Why Identiti?

Identiti is a national leader in brand implementation, specializing in custom signage, branded environments, and facilities maintenance. Founded in 1991, we have grown from a local service agent into a trusted national partner serving multi-site clients across the country.

Our Signage division provides end-to-end solutions—from design and fabrication to installation and program management—with a focus on quality, efficiency, and integrity. Our Facilities Maintenance division provides responsive and preventive maintenance services that help our clients protect, maintain, and extend the life of their branded environments long after installation. Together, our Signage and Facilities Maintenance teams allow Identiti to support clients throughout the full lifecycle of their branded spaces.

At Identiti, we believe in being People First. We value teamwork, excellence, adaptability, momentum, and sustainability, and we're committed to creating an environment where our people can grow and make an impact.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead AP operations across Identiti, domestic and international, across the full lifecycle: vendor onboarding, invoice coding, three-way match, approvals, payment runs, vendor inquiries and month-end accruals.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, with oversight of the domestic and international AP team. Set clear expectations, cross-train, and build a service-focused culture.
  • Assess AP people, processes and systems across entities, then set standardized policies, workflows and best practices. This includes bringing structure to Facilities Maintenance’s distinct work-order volume and vendor mix.
  • Lead the AP side of acquisition integrations, including vendor master consolidation, system migration and policy alignment.
  • Manage subcontractor and project-cost payables, including lien waivers, insurance and compliance documentation, and 1099 reporting. Partner with Operations so costs are coded to the right job and period.
Shared Services Transition
  • Supervise AP’s move to a centralized shared-services model, working closely with our Philippines team.
  • Pull AP tasks now spread across the organization into one function, with documented procedures, clear ownership and SLAs.
  • Administer the Ramp corporate card program: issuing cards, setting spend policy, enforcing receipt and coding compliance, and reconciling.
Cash Flow & Capital Management
  • Build rolling short- and long-range cash flow forecasts, and report forecast vs. actual to leadership.
  • Analyze the cash conversion cycle, DPO, aging and payment timing to drive working-capital recommendations.
  • Own daily treasury activity, including cash positioning, payment prioritization and banking coordination.
  • Support liquidity planning and lender reporting with FP&A, and negotiate vendor terms, early-pay programs and vendor consolidation with Procurement and Operations.
Controls, Close & Systems
  • Enforce disbursement controls: segregation of duties, approval matrices, vendor master changes, duplicate-payment prevention, and ACH, wire and check fraud safeguards.
  • Deliver AP reconciliations, accruals and cut-off for the monthly close. Support audit, quality-of-earnings and diligence requests, and keep sales/use tax, 1099 and unclaimed property filings compliant.
  • Drive AP automation (invoice capture, approvals, electronic payments, vendor portals), and track KPIs including cycle time, touchless rate, exceptions, aging, early-pay capture, cost per invoice and forecast accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; extensive, progressive AP leadership experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • 10+ years of accounts payable experience. Combined AP/AR backgrounds are welcome, with at least 10 years focused on AP.
  • 5+ years of recent, hands-on treasury or cash management experience, such as cash forecasting, cash positioning, and banking activity.
  • 5+ years of Proven supervisory experience, including leading and developing direct reports.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, including building forecasting models, cash projections, and working-capital analysis.
  • A track record of improving AP processes, controls, and systems, not just running them.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal oversight.
Preferred
  • Experience in a private equity-backed or high-change environment (acquisitions, integrations, reorganizations).
  • Background in construction, facilities maintenance, or field services.
  • Subcontractor payables experience, including lien waivers and certificate-of-insurance tracking.
  • Experience consolidating AP across multiple entities or acquired businesses, or leading a move to shared services.
  • Experience with Ramp or similar corporate card platforms, AP automation tools, and mid-market ERPs.
  • Experience working with offshore or distributed teams.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
Core Competencies
  • Analytical rigor: comfortable building models and turning data into decisions.
  • Builder's mindset: improves processes rather than just running them.
  • Independent operator who brings structure to ambiguity and change.
  • Operational discipline and attention to detail.
  • Clear, direct communication with executives, operators, and vendors.
  • Integrity and a strong control mindset.
