Accounts Payable Manager - Automation & Systems Implementation

A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to oversee and streamline the AP process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AP systems, accounting principles, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Experience automating AP processes or implementing new systems.
• Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain accurate AP records for transparency and audits.
• Implement controls to ensure accurate expense accounting.
• Optimize AP workflows, reducing processing times and improving efficiency.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze AP aging and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
