Job summary

EVgo, a leading public fast charging network, is seeking a Specialist, Accounts Payable to manage full-cycle AP, vendor setup, and compliance. You will ensure accurate processing, timely payments, and proper documentation in a SOX-compliant environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 2+ years of related experience, and proficiency with NetSuite and Excel. Experience with Coupa is preferred; travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Experience at a public company or in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Experience with month-end close processes and accrual accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, data filtering).
• NetSuite experience required; Coupa or similar procure-to-pay system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable transactions including invoice receipt, coding, and approval routing.
• Complete payment runs and control expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Manage ACH and check payments per disbursement policy.
• Prepare remittance information and ensure accurate documentation accompanies disbursements.
• Set up new vendors and verify payment information.
• Audit invoices and support documentation for approvals.
• Participate in month-end close and monitor AP aging.
