Job summary

Tradewind Aviation is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team in Middlebury, CT. You will process, record, and track payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies. This role reports to the Sr.

Accounting Manager and requires independent work and team collaboration. Key duties include routing bills, entering payables in RAMP, setting up vendors, coordinating with vendors and approvers, and reviewing Emburse expense reports.

Qualifications

• Prior coursework or internship in accounting or AP.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and manage priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn a new system.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and time management.
• Strong communication to interact with leadership and departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adhere to internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Route all bills for approval based on company policies.
• Enter payables into RAMP to review coding and posting entities.
• Set up new vendors with proper W-9 verification and banking info.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal approvers.
• Prepare approved payments as requested.
• Review Emburse expense reports and train new users.
• Manage corporate credit card and aircraft fleet cards.
• Reconcile fuel and landing charges with scheduling data.
• Coordinate mail delivery with Headquarters.
• Provide positive, team-oriented collaboration with stakeholders.
