Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join our Support Center in Louisville, KY. This on-site role operates on a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in the office) and supports payment processing for 700+ restaurants, vendors, and internal teams.

You will manage high-volume invoices, investigate discrepancies, and assist with month-end activities while collaborating with leadership to improve efficiency. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience required.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external parties.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting mindset.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices and payments across multiple systems—accurately and on time.
• Investigate and resolve vendor payment discrepancies and invoice issues.
• Communicate with restaurants, internal teams, and suppliers to keep everything on track.
• Review vendor statements and proactively address outstanding balances.
• Support month-end activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist with duplicate payment research, reversals, and reissues.
• Help optimize processes—partnering with leadership to improve efficiency and workflows.
• Support supplier relationships, including payment terms and digital invoicing adoption.
• Jump into special projects and cross-train across AP functions to grow your skillset.
