Bridge Specialty Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing team. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will help ensure accuracy in processing payables and communicate with agents, admins, and dealerships.

This role offers cross-training across accounting functions, frequent interdepartmental coordination, and opportunities to contribute to a large wholesale network across the United States.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar accounts payable role.

Responsibilities

• Process agent commission checks within identified timelines.
• Investigate return payments, endorsements, and overpayments; print invoices and issue refunds as needed.
• Process weekly ACH/check cancellations and claim payments.
• Correspond with Agents, Admins, and Dealerships via phone, mail, and email to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure smooth payment workflows.
• Document all correspondence and attach to the correct file in systems.
• Assist with accounting corrections and day-to-day issues with the corporate accounting team.
• Cross-train in accounting to cover vacations or absences.
