Job summary

PO&G Resources is hiring an accounts payable associate at our Houston headquarters. The role will support coding vendor invoices, scanning, and ensuring timely payments for multiple entities. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of oil and gas AP experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with DocVue, ODA, OGSYS, and Open Invoice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years oil and gas accounts payable experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

PO&G Resources is a rapidly growing, twenty-seven-year-old private oil and gas company located in the Galleria/Uptown area of Houston, TX. With the ongoing expansion of our operations across multiple areas within the US, the company is hiring an accounts payable associate in our Houston headquarters office.

The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

Job Functions

• For multiple companies, code vendor invoices into the DocVue system and route for approval
• Scanning invoices into DocVue
• Resolve invoice problems and disputes with vendors
• Track and record ACH payments
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Back-up for team members as needed
• Other projects in-line with job responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3+ years oil and gas accounts payable experience
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including proficiency in Excel
• Experience with On Demand Accounting (ODA), DocVue, OGSYS, and Open Invoice a plus
• Detail oriented and works well in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
