Job summary

Amynta Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support accounts payable, cash receipts, and banking activities at our Hunt Valley, MD location. • Record daily cash receipts for multiple programs, accurately entering data into large spreadsheets.
• Review, verify, and process invoices for payment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments.
• Reconcile company payables and process payments.
• Assist with month-end close processing and reporting.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
• Deposit refund checks on a timely basis.
• Support the team with check distribution.

The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for supporting accounts payable, cash receipts, and banking activities.

• Record daily cash receipts for multiple programs, accurately entering data into large spreadsheets.
• Review, verify, and process invoices for payment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments.
• Reconcile company payables and process payments.
• Assist with month-end close processing and reporting.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
• Deposit refund checks on a timely, weekly basis.
• Support the team with check distribution.
