Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an organized Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance Team. This hybrid role requires on-site presence in the Buffalo area with a mix of remote work where appropriate.

You will process high-volume AP invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate records. A2+ years AP experience and advanced Excel skills, plus familiarity with SAP S4/ECC, are preferred. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

• Typically an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with 2+ years of AP experience.
• Understanding of purchasing and accounts payable processes.
• Experience with Excel advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Experience with AP functionality in accounting systems (e.g., SAP SAP ECC/S4) is beneficial.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; local Buffalo area on-site required.

• Maintain accurate, organized records of all transactions.

• Research and analyze payment or invoice issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to address questions or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with AP policies and procedures.
• Adjust and update accounting records as necessary.
• Perform 3-Way Match and accurate data entry for invoices.
• Execute timely and accurate payments; manage various invoice types.
• Apply Lean/Continuous Improvement to enhance processes.
• Engage in Business Process Management and Knowledge Management initiatives.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment using multiple accounting systems and MS Office.

Our Finance Team in Corporate Group is looking for an organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join them!

You will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for the Accounts Payable Analyst role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:

• Typically, an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, and over two (2) years of experience in accounts payable or a related function.
• A combination of relevant professional experience and education may be considered.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, specific to the purchasing and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data through advanced formulas and functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Previous experience with the accounts payable functionality within accounting systems (e.g., SAP ECC/SAP S4) would be beneficial.
• Excellent skills in communication, organization, and attention to detail are a must!
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.

As An Accounts Payable Analyst, You Will

• Address and resolve accounts payable inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
• Process high volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by working closely with buyers, vendors and other departments.
• Research and analyze payment or invoice-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors to address questions and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for accounts payable.
• Adjust and update accounting records as necessary.
• Conduct evaluated receipt settlements (3-Way Match) to ensure accuracy.
• Process various types of invoices, including auditing and entering data into the AP system, handling recurring invoices, and managing one-time invoices.
• Execute timely and accurate payments.
• Embrace and apply Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance processes.
• Engage in Business Process Management and Knowledge Management initiatives.
• Efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various accounting systems and Microsoft Office products.

Salary Range Transparency

Buffalo, NY $25.00–$28.00 Hourly
