Job summary

ProTalent in Brighton is looking for an Accounts Manager to run a portfolio of owner-managed clients and lead the accounts team. You will be the main contact for clients and help spot advisory opportunities while coaching and developing seniors and trainees.

The firm is long-established, partner-led, and focuses on Xero-enabled client work across diverse sectors, offering a collaborative environment and real influence over client outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience with a strong UK practice background.
• Experience reviewing work and managing client portfolios.

A long-established, partner-led accountancy practice in Brighton is looking for an Accounts Manager to run a portfolio of clients and lead the accounts team.

It's a small, friendly firm where the partners are hands-on and easy to talk to. You'll be working right alongside them, so your ideas get heard and your work gets noticed.

The client base is broad and loyal. Property, construction, retail, legal and healthcare practices, charities and trusts. There's also a specialist niche in service charge accounts, which keeps things interesting.

What you'll be doing

• Managing your own portfolio of owner-managed business clients
• Reviewing accounts, management accounts and corporation tax work prepared by the team
