Job summary

MHA Macintyre Hudson LLP in the United States is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to tackle challenges. You will contribute to Accounting and Business Advisory Services (ABAS), reviewing draft financial statements, consolidations, and tax computations while building strong client relationships.

This role requires ACCA or ACA qualification and solid IT skills; experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks is helpful.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification is required.
• Experience producing single entity and group year-end financial statements.
• Strong IT skills with Word, Outlook and Excel at an intermediate level.
• Able to manage a client portfolio and monitor WIP.

Responsibilities

• Review draft financial statements for standards and client records.
• Prepare and review consolidations and group accounts.
• Review draft audit statements and liaise with the audit department.
• Assist in advisory work and high-quality client service.
• Review corporation tax computations for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage deadlines and Companies House filings.
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Supervise and review work of junior team members.
• Monitor budgets and cash collections, and communicate with clients.
