Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Manager for Accounting & Transaction Advisory in New Jersey. The role focuses on leading audit, assurance and deal-related work for high-value transactions, with a strong emphasis on GAAP/IFRS standards and interaction with C-suite executives.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in Public Accounting, CPA (or in progress), and a track record in advising on large filers and complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification preferred – will accept those in progress.
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD in Public Accounting (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD).
• High degree of professionalism; ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self-starter; can thrive as an Individual Contributor or in a team-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA, etc.).
