Job summary

Oliver James partners with a large advisory firm to identify a seasoned accounting professional. This role targets individuals with a Public Accounting background seeking to expand expertise within an organization focused on developing its people.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters preferred) and CPA is preferred. Candidates should have 4+ years in Audit/Assurance/Deals/FDD/TAS at a public firm, with experience handling large public filers and strong C-Suite

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred
• CPA preferred - will accept those in process
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD in a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred)
• Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD)
• High degree of professionalism with C-Suite communication
• Self-starter capable of working solo or in teams
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA)

Our client is a large, established Advisory firm that have placed significant capital behind their Accounting & Transaction Advisory sector expansion this year.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
