The Senior Accounting Technician performs advanced technical accounting, payroll review, reconciliation, and financial reporting support for the department. This position is responsible for reviewing financial transactions for accuracy, reconciling reports and accounts, identifying discrepancies, supporting policy compliance, and assisting with the implementation of accounting and administrative procedures.
The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, knowledge of governmental accounting practices, and the ability to interpret and apply County policies, internal controls, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The Senior Accounting Technician serves as a technical resource to staff and supports accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.

$5,813.87 to $7,791.15 per month for a 172.67 hour work month. Excellent County benefit package when eligible. This union-represented position is available immediately.
