In this position, you will play a key role in the Section of Epidemiology by providing technical accounting and fiscal support within the Central Services Unit. You will manage a variety of fiscal functions, including processing financial transactions, financial management, journal entries, procurement, Reimbursable Service Agreements (RSA), account reconciliations, accounts payable, and budget tracking. Working collaboratively with administrative and program staff, you will help ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial operations that support statewide public health programs.
The Section of Epidemiology is dedicated to protecting and improving the health of Alaskans through timely, data-driven action on infectious diseases and environmental health hazards. Two years of technical level accounting or bookkeeping experience, of which at least one year was at the full-proficiency level.
