Job summary

Arc of Acadiana is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to manage hands-on general ledger and reporting across programs and funds in a multi-entity nonprofit.

You will guide the accounting team, ensure timely close, support the rollout of a new accounting system, and strengthen internal controls while serving a mission-driven organization.

Location is New Iberia, LA, with standard weekday hours; this role reports to the Accounting Manager and offers opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP software experience.

Responsibilities

• Own components of monthly and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Analyze and report financial activity and variances.
• Support new accounting system implementation and data migration.
• Coordinate day-to-day accounting priorities with other teams.
• Maintain chart of accounts and coding consistency.
