Job summary

Troon is seeking an Accounting Lead in Scottsdale, AZ. You will supervise a small accounting team, oversee monthly closes, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting while collaborating with operations. This role combines hands-on review with leadership to maintain accuracy and timely financial results.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting, 2+ years in a leadership capacity, and strong Excel/Microsoft 365 skills. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience reviewing complex reconciliations, financial statements, and close deliverables.
• Ability to manage workloads across multiple entities or locations with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close activities for assigned portfolio, reviewing statements, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Provide hands-on review and quality control for GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Supervise and coach a small team of accountants.
