Job summary

CFM Materials LP, a joint venture of GE and Safran Aircraft Engines, seeks an Accounting Team Leader to oversee daily accounting operations, manage payables, and coordinate monthly closings and financial statements.

The candidate will ensure US GAAP compliance, supervise the payable staff, and support external audits while maintaining data integrity. A Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 3+ years of experience are required; CPA progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced setting
• Good understanding of US GAAP
• Public accounting background preferred, does not have to be Big 4
• CPA or progress towards preferred
• Understanding of French a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs full cycle accounting including:
• Manage the monthly closing with the finance team
• Prepares, reviews and uploads journal entries
• Generates and review financial statements
• In charge of ensuring the accuracy of the accounting information
• Develops and maintains timely and accurate quarterly financial statements
• Supervise daily bank reconciliations
• Prepare and formalize monthly reconciliations
• Review and process payment batches
• Manage third parties setup
• Consolidation reporting in cooperation with the financial analyst and chief financial officer
• Responsible for all tax reporting and compliance
• Creates and communicates monthly reporting
• Manage payable clerk(s) and specialist(s)
• Cooperates with the staff accountant and other departments
• Manages external auditors
• Manage/lead projects related to the accounting department
