Job summary

The University of Washington Bothell invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Accounting. This 100% FTE, 9-month appointment begins September 16, 2027 and is not tenure eligible.

The role includes teaching multiple accounting courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels and shaping curriculum in consultation with the School of Business. Responsibilities include instructional design, accreditation support, and active service to the School of Business and UW Bothell

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Experience teaching a variety of accounting courses at university level preferred.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community.

Responsibilities

• Teach eight courses over autumn, winter, and spring quarters.
• Engage in accounting curriculum design and accreditation activities (AACSB).
• Advise and mentor students and participate in Beta Alpha Psi activities and alumni relations.
