Job summary

The University of North Florida Board of Trustees seeks an Instructor of Accounting & Taxation in the Department of Accounting & Finance. This is a 9-month, non-tenure earning position with a 4/4 teaching load (four courses in fall, four in spring) and departmental service responsibilities.

Responsibilities include teaching, student mentoring, and committee work within the Coggin College of Business. Start date anticipated December 21, 2026; review date October 15, 2026; open until filled.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a closely related field OR CPA license with significant professional experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching and student success.
• A record of academic and/or professional engagement consistent with AACSB standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 4/4 load (eight courses per academic year) in Accounting & Taxation.
• Provide departmental and college service, including committee work and mentoring students.
