The position includes teaching a 4/4 load, plus department and college service, mentoring students, and committee work.

Anticipated Start Date is December 16, 2026. Qualified candidates hold a master's degree in accounting/taxation or CPA with substantial professional experience, and show commitment to teaching

Qualifications

• A master's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, taxation, or a closely related field OR a C.P.A. license with significant professional experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching and student success.
• A record of academic and/or professional engagement consistent with the standards and expectations of an AACSB-accredited college of business.
• Professional certifications such as C.P.A., C.M.A., C.I.A. are encouraged.
• A doctoral degree or related coursework in accounting, taxation, or related fields.
• Experience teaching accounting or taxation at the undergraduate level.
• Experience teaching accounting or taxation in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 4/4 course load (four courses in fall and four in spring) or equivalent.
• Provide service to the department and college (committee work, mentoring students, etc.).
