Job summary

Cesna-Recruitment is seeking an Accounting / Tax Specialist for a global trading and investment company based in New Jersey. The role demands strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to work across US GAAP and IFRS consolidation.

You will support month-end and year-end closings, manage journal entries, prepare balance sheets and P&L reports, and assist tax compliance. Fluent English and Korean are required; SAP and Excel proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of accounting firm experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Korean required.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle journal entries and general accounting operations.
• Analyzes financial information, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Assist Consolidation reporting of US GAAP and IFRS (consolidation package).
• Analyzes accounting issue and report to Accounting head/Controller.
• Support local tax compliance reporting (on the job training provided; no prior tax experience required).
• Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager.
• Smart, quick-thinking, and able to make sound judgement calls in fast moving situations.
• Strong learning agility; this role involves a steep learning curve, so the ability to pick up new tasks quickly is essential.
• Prior experience (around 3 years) at an accounting firm is a plus.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel preferred.
• Prior experience with SAP is a plus.

Job Description
