Cesna Recruitment is seeking an Accounting / Tax Specialist in Ridgefield Park, NJ. The role covers month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS with consolidation support.

The ideal candidate has about 3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and SAP familiarity, plus fluency in English and Korean for cross‑border coordination. Salary range is competitive with benefits including 401k and PTO.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end close processes for US GAAP and IFRS consolidation.
• Handle journal entries and general accounting operations.
• Prepare balance sheets, P&L and other internal reports.
• Assist consolidation reporting and provide analysis under Accounting head/Controller.
• Support local tax compliance reporting with on-the-job training provided.
• Communicate accounting issues clearly to the team and managers.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support month-end/ year-end closing processes
• Handle journal entries and general accounting operations
• Analyzes financial information, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Assist Consolidation reporting of US GAAP and IFRS (consolidation package)
• Analyzes accounting issue and problem and report to Accounting head/Controller
• Support local tax compliance reporting(On the job training provided; no prior tax experience required)
• Perform all other functions requested that is within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager
• Smart, quick-thinking, and able to make sound judgement calls in fast moving situations
• Strong learning agility; this role involves a steep learning curve, so the ability to pick up new tasks quickly is essential
• Prior experience(around 3 years) at an accounting firm is a plus
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
• Prior experience with SAP is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Korean required
