Job summary

Union is seeking an Accounting Supervisor in Mountain View, Wyoming to lead and develop a finance team while driving process improvements and stronger controls. You will own accounting processes, mentor staff, and partner with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting.

In this hands-on role, you’ll streamline workflows, enhance reporting tools, and ensure GAAP compliance. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits in a growing telecommunications-related organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising staff.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Enhance spreadsheets, reporting tools, systems, and financial processes.
• Research issues, recommend solutions, and drive implementation.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Finance staff.
• Review accounting activities for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation practices.
• Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Support Part 32 and Part 64 accounting classifications.
• Serve as trusted partner to Finance Director.
