Job summary

As a subject-matter expert, you will translate GAAP guidance into practical procedures, strengthen controls, and use KPIs to drive performance. This role blends leadership with hands-on accounting excellence to support management’s priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience required.
• Supervisory experience, a plus.
• CPA preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
• Proficiency in Qlik Sense and Power Query preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving, judgment, time management, and organizational skills; multitask and self-prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day and month end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Translate GAAP knowledge into practical guidance for the team.
• Maintain a strong control environment with risk assessments and documentation.
• Use KPIs to spot trends, drive accountability, and improve processes.
• Empower staff through coaching and growth plans.
• Anticipate roadblocks, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
• Build collaboration across the organization and communicate with leadership.
