Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight or supervision.

Overview

The Supervisor, Accounting plays a key leadership role within the finance department, overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This position is responsible for supervising a team of accounting professionals, managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, and supporting audits and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative leadership style to drive efficiency and maintain high standards of financial stewardship.

You will report to Controller directly; you will be required to work onsite at least 3 days per week on hybrid schedule at Powerblanket office located at 3130 S 1030 W #1, Salt Lake City, UT 84119.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include
