Second-level Supervisor/Manager responsible for overseeing the work of professional-level accounting staff. Accountable for developing fiscal policies and operating procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Employees at this level assist with preparing and administering agency or departmental programs and budgets in coordination with the executive team or accounting supervisor. This position also addresses financial questions and issues from business partners, federal and local government agencies, state agencies, executive staff, and other employees.

The candidate should demonstrate initiative, professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to achieving organizational goals through effective teamwork and communication.
