Job summary

Jobtailor in McLean, VA is seeking an experienced CPA to lead outsourced nonprofit accounting engagements. You will oversee client relationships and engagement teams, ensure accurate monthly close, and supervise balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.

You'll prepare and review audit support work and Form 990 schedules, communicate with clients on engagement matters, and interact with vendors and banks. CPA is preferred; nonprofit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of experience in public accounting, auditing, corporate, or non-profit accounting roles.
• CPA preferred or license in progress.
• Not-for-profit industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Passion and commitment to providing quality client service and guidance.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with nonprofit clients and multiple client engagements.
