- Act as the Controller for designated clients
- Advise clients as a consultant on best practices for accounting and finance-related engagements
- Manage multiple clients, projects, workstreams, and deadlines
- Prepare and analyze client financial statements and make recommendations
- Foster and build opportunities and attend industry-leading events and trainings
- Maintain knowledge of organizational policies, federal and state directives, and current accounting standards
- Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Requirements
- Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required; combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience in Nonprofit highly preferred
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Prior project management and client management experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of client organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
