Job summary

Inductive Automation, LLC is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions in a hybrid, full-time role. You will lead a team, ensure timely payments, and implement standard operating procedures across finance processes.

The ideal candidate has extensive AP/AR experience, strong leadership, and expertise with Sage Intacct, bringing analytical and communication strengths to support growing automation software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience with knowledge of both accounts payable and receivable.
  • 3+ years of strong leadership and direct supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Sage functions, in particular the aging function.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly to the changing demands of a growing software company.
  • Excellent planning, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing overall monthly bank account reconciliation, ensuring staff have required statements.
  • Assisting with month end activities (ie: financial statement review, AP ledger review, AR).
  • Handling adjusting entries in Sage Intacct.
  • Reviewing and/or responding to special customer requests (net terms, voiding orders).
  • Identifying areas for improvement and efficiency by reviewing current process and developing new ones.
  • Managing special projects as requested by Co-Directors.
  • Supporting finance team with monthly goal objectives.
  • Managing a team of 6+.
  • Monitoring aging reports, manage collections and follow up on delinquent accounts.

The Accounting Supervisor (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager) is responsible for managing and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This includes developing and directing staff and maintaining and reconciling the AP and AR ledgers to ensure timely and accurate payments. This individual will also be responsible for implementing and ensuring documentation of standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records; evaluating inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings or process improvement and relaying conclusions to management. This is full-time, hybrid opportunity.
