Job summary

Doosan Bobcat NA US in West Fargo, North Dakota, seeks an Accounting Student Intern for Spring 2027. The program provides hands-on experience applying coursework to real-world finance projects, with exposure to monthly reporting, ledger mappings, and financial analysis.

Interns will work part-time for a semester, with potential extensions, and collaborate with finance professionals on both corporate and production accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Finance/Accounting concentration.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Team player, fast learner, adaptable to change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills is a must.
• Be able to commit to Doosan Bobcat for the entire term (8 months) or internship (4 months).
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Create/Document/Maintain Monthly Management Reports.
• Improve/maintain balance sheet reconciliations for multiple branches.
• Validate mappings from local ledger to corporate ledger.
• Ad hoc financial analyses and follow-up on monthly reporting package.
• Complete monthly Journal Entries through Oracle software.
• Submit month-end financials into BPC and reconcile with Oracle.
• Close modules at month end (AR, AP, Fixed Assets).
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts through Blackline monthly.
• Assist in the Chart of Account process by adding accounts and mapping in Oracle.

Role & Responsibility

Finance:

• Creation/Documentation/Maintenance of Monthly Management Reports
• Improve/Maintain Balance sheet reconciliations for multiple branches

General Accounting:

Job Requirement

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Finance/Accounting Concentration Science or equivalent
• Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
• Team player, fast learner, and adaptable to change
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills is a must
• A self‑starter and will dig into problems independently and will look for limited guidance
• Be able to commit to Doosan Bobcat for the entire term of the co‑op (8 months) or internship (4 months)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow written instructions

The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 per hourdepending on experience and other factors.
