Job summary

Enterprise Holdings in Tampa offers an Accounting Intern position to learn basic accounting and finance operations, including financial statement prep and analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting or Finance with a 2027 graduation date.
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willing to commit to the spring internship dates (Jan 25, 2027 – Apr 24, 2027).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analyses.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and schedules.
• Involved in A/P and A/R functions, cash receipts and petty cash.
• Carry out accounting schedules and filing; perform admin duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Starting as anAccounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrativeduties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming semester at an accredited college or university in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance, with an expected graduation date in 2027.
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be willing to commit to our part-time/full-time spring internship program (January 25, 2027 - April 24, 2027)
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, no more than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) in past 5 years.
• Must be flexible to relocate outside local area/state within a 1-3 year period to accept potential promotional opportunities
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
