Qualifications
While we do not expect every candidate to have experience in all areas, experience with nonprofit accounting and fund accounting is strongly preferred. The school uses Veracross for bookkeeping. Experience in the independent school world is a plus. CPA licensure is not required, but is also strongly preferred.
The position is expected to average approximately20 hours per month, with hours varying based on the school’s accounting cycle. Additional hours will be required during the summer for fiscal year-end duties. The position offers scheduling flexibility with work-from-home hours, although periodic on-campus work and meetings will be required.
