Hanwha Q CELLS Georgia is seeking an Accounting Specialist II to handle daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks in line with GAAP and company policies. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and collaborates with the Korea HQ Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business and at least five years of accounting/finance experience, with strong MS Office and SAP skills.

• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.

Responsabilités

• Review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Set up and maintain code of accounts.
• Assist in monthly accounting close procedures including proper period end cut-off and accounting close schedule.
• Close cooperation with Finance & Accounting in Korea HQ.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with regulatory reporting as applicable.
• Support the preparation of annual business plan for Finance team.
• Support the system of Internal Control over accounting functions. Assist the external auditors with certain substantive auditing procedures.
• Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate procedures.
• Respond to questions regarding external auditor’s review and year-end audit.
• Performs additional duties and special assignments as required.
• Support financial internal audit as needed basis.
