Job summary

SEETECH, LLC seeks an experienced Accounting Specialist to oversee daily accounting functions at our Nitro, WV location. You will maintain the general ledger, prepare financial reports, manage payables/receivables, and support tax filings and payroll processes with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with accounting software.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience in a business environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management.
• Experience preparing and filing state and local tax documents.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and all subsidiary accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare and file state, city, and local tax returns and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting.
• Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with annual audits and provide documentation as requested.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Work closely with management to provide financial analysis and operational support.
