• Perform monthly reconciliations and related statements.

As our accounting specialist, you help keep the Theatre running smoothly by maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting activities. How you will make an impact in this role:

• You will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, credit card transactions.
• You will perform a variety of accounting and transactional posting duties according to established procedures.
• You will perform assigned monthly reconciliations.
• You will get to work with technology including MS Office apps, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Adobe Acrobat and other industry-specific software.

Summary of qualifications:

• 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably at a nonprofit organization, especially in performing arts.
• Associate degree or demonstration of solid understanding of basic accounting principles; additional experience may qualify.
• Expertise in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel; knowledge of other typical financial software
