Alpine Armoring is seeking an Accounting Specialist to lead on analyzing financial information, maintaining accurate records of payments, and performing essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong mathematical skills and experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

This role requires reporting to management, building systematic expense processes, vendor coordination, and proficiency in QuickBooks and AI to generate accurate financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience as a financial analyst, accountant, controller, or similar position.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, AI, and basic accounting systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to GM to ensure all required analytical reports are done regularly and accurately.
• Develop a practical system for all company expenses to be handled consistently.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure accuracy of charges and payments.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and AI for generating proper reports.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.
• Enter financial data and transactions.
• Analyze budgets and other financial information.
• Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare financial reports and statements.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Create accounting policies to comply with regulations.
• Process payroll (if necessary).
