Job summary

CFS in Madison, WI is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile statements, and prepare payroll for union and nonunion staff, contributing to accurate and timely financial operations.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in accounting roles, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and preferably construction-industry exposure to support our project-based environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Construction experience highly preferred.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
