Job summary

FirsTech, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Decatur, IL, on-site team. The role reports to the Financial Services Manager and focuses on accounts payable, receivable and client billing tasks essential to our finance operations.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Accounting with strong Excel and office software skills. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensure accuracy under deadlines, and support internal and client billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable client invoice billings.

• Enter daily and monthly general ledger entries.
• Cross-train and provide back-up for other accounting duties.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
