Responsabilidades

• Daily invoicing and credit processing for Chattanooga distribution.
• Invoicing—prepare and mail invoices; verify order status and calculations.

Southern Champion Tray, a busy manufacturing company based in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking an addition to its corporate accounting staff. POD / BILLING SPECIALIST JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for accurate and timely calculation, processing, and recording of high volume POD credits and billing functions.

POD PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews, sorts, and verifies POD reports received daily from customers
• Verifies customer purchases and payments; working with customers regarding discrepancies
• Reviews and verifies customer payments made
• Issues POD credit memos
• Works closely with Accounting, Customers, Sales, and Management when questions arise and approval amounts are required

BILLING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Workis with and shares daily responsibilities of invoicing and credits for Chattanooga distribution
• Invoices - Daily processing and preparing of invoices for mailing; involves reviewing status of orders shipped and verifying accuracy of calculations
• Credits - Working closely with Accounting, Customer Service, Sales, and Accounts Receivable receives, verifies, and processes internal and external credits for deductions and complaints

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency with Office (especially Excel)
• Organized: high level of data accuracy/attention to detail
