Job summary

You will shadow client engagements, participate in orientation and training, assist with cash, AP, payroll, and 1099 filing, and develop proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook while upholding the firm's values and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting with more than two years of coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic office tech knowledge.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to commit to extended hours during busy season when needed.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on experience in the accounting services industry.
• Participate in intern orientation, technical training, and development programs.
• Shadow and perform procedures on financial statement areas such as cash, AR, fixed assets, and AP.
• Review client financial statements and record adjustments as needed.
• Assist with payroll processing and 1099 filing requirements.
