Upbound Group, Inc. invites aspiring accountants to join its 2027 Summer Intern Program in Plano, Texas for a comprehensive Accounting rotation.

The ten-week in-office internship covers Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Internal Audit, with practical exposure to the general ledger, tax provisions, and audit reviews. You will engage in training modules and self-paced learning, gaining insights into corporate finance and our SEC reporting expectations while connecting with

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Accounting degree with expected graduation between May 2027 and May 2028.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship provided for this program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger with supporting data.
• Develop and analyze ad hoc financial reports.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly closings.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and external SEC filings.
• Assist with special accounting and finance projects and analyses.
• Assist with income tax returns and quarterly provision calculations.
• Assist with audit reviews and SOX control processes.
• Interface with other departments to support projects.
