Job summary

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Coordinator SBO Revenue Integrity to support the Revenue Integrity function remotely. The role focuses on charge capture, edits resolution, and collaboration with Epic, 3M EMR, and RI teams to ensure accurate billing.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hospital and professional chargemaster experience, strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and revenue codes, and hands-on CDM maintenance experience. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate REQUIRED.
• Minimum of 3 years of HOSPITAL (HB) and PROFESSIONAL (PB) chargemaster hands on work experience in healthcare revenue cycle - REQUIRED
• Recent experience with hospital charge capture workflows, charge master maintenance, CPT, HCPCS code and Revenue Codes - REQUIRED
• Must know what work queues are and how to fix in Epic/very hands on and must know all components of CDM and maintenance of CDM- REQUIRED
• Must understand and have experience with MUEs and CCI Edits- REQUIRED
• Experience with Epic, 3M EMR and RI- Required
• ARCR: Resolute Hospital Billing & Charging - REQUIRED
• ARCR: Resolute Professional Billing Revenue Integrity-Charge Capture and Coding - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Support Revenue Integrity function for the SBO at Bay Area Hospital.
• Identify CPT, HCPCS codes and Revenue Codes for services.
• Resolve edits and manage work queues in Epic and RI/CDM context.
• Collaborate with chargemaster team and RI to ensure proper charge capture.
• Coordinate with Epic and RI teams to maintain and improve CDM and billing workflows.

Coordinator SBO Revenue Integrity- FULLY REMOTE

This position is responsible for driving and supporting the Revenue Integrity function for the Single Billing Office (SBO) at Bay Area Hospital, in coordination with our Epic Community Connect partners. Supports clinical departments responsible for working decentralized edits. Is responsible for working and resolving edits assigned to Revenue Integrity. Serves as a resource to both internal departments and the Community Connect chargemaster team and will help with identifying CPT codes, revenue codes or payer specific charging requirements for services provided.
