Ashland University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting, Tenure Track; or Lecturer of Accounting, Non-Tenure Track (Promotable) in the Dauch College of Business and Economics. Fall 2027 start, teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, with research or scholarly activity expected for tenure-track candidates.

The role emphasizes excellence in teaching, service to university and profession, and a technology-enabled classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates for Assistant/Associate Professor should ideally hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in an appropriate field and an active CPA license.
• Candidates for Lecturer must have a graduate degree in business and an active CPA license.
• Prior teaching experience, including ability to teach effectively in a technology-facilitated environment, as well as in a traditional classroom setting, is required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in accounting including tax, auditing, accounting information systems, and financial accounting.
• Excellence in teaching and participation in service activities to the university, community and profession.
• For tenure-track candidates, conduct scholarly activities in their area of concentration to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status.
