Job summary

Matrix Finance and Accounting in Seattle seeks a Payroll Accounting Manager or Payroll Accountant/Sr. for a hybrid role. You will manage payroll for about 250 employees across US states and international payroll, with responsibilities in payroll accounting, including JE's, accruals, reporting, tax filing and audits.

The role offers a growth path toward a director of compensation, partial remote flexibility, and competitive benefits. DOE with bonus eligibility and parking facilities in Seattle.

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting/Business/Finance is required or ideal.
• 5–10 years of experience depending on level (Accountant vs Manager).
• Hybrid schedule with two days/week in DT Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for ~250 employees across US multi-state and international.
• Payroll accounting work: JE's, accruals, reporting, tax filing, audits.
• Assist HR/compensation budgeting and variance analysis.

NEW Payroll/Accounting Manager opportunity. This could also be a Payroll Accountant/Sr. Accountant level role, will DOE. Global financial services firm, publicly traded, growing fast, opening new offices worldwide. Process payroll for ~250 ees, US multi-state, and international. Payroll accounting - JE's, accruals, reporting, tax filing, audit, and HR/compensation department budgeting and variance analysis. Growth path ahead - develop into manager or director of compensation (overseeing globally payroll, LTIP, equity programs, executive compensation, etc.). Ideal for BA in Accounting/Business/Finance, 5-10 years experience depending on Accountant or Manager level talent. Comp range to $140K DOE + bonus, great benefits, paid parking in Seattle. Hybrid schedule, 2 days a week in DT Seattle.
