Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Accounting Operations Associate in Alabama to handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including AP/AR and journal entries, with responsibility for reconciliations and month-end close.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of corporate accounting experience, plus proficiency with Excel and accounting systems. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
• Prepare standard financial reports and maintain organized records in compliance with internal policies.
• Support internal and external audit requests through accurate data compilation and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve routine accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
