Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience; construction preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month‑end close.
• Experience with job costing, WIP, or project accounting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite a plus).
• Experience participating in ERP implementations or major system upgrades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support GAAP-based month-end close and journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts including bank and accruals.
• Assist with financial statements, variance analysis, and schedules.
• Support job costing and project margin tracking for HVAC/plumbing work.
• Assist AP/AR teams with posting, billing reviews, and collections.
• Support payroll journal entries and labor cost allocations.
• Assist with tax compliance, audits, and internal controls.
