Hilton in Florida is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the hotel’s financial operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and reporting. You’ll lead a small team, ensure accuracy and compliance, and drive cost control across operations.

This role requires hands-on control of payroll processing, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash handling, with a focus on mentorship and process improvement to deliver reliable financial insights and a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing hotel general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Strong payroll oversight including timekeeping, gratuity calculations, and audits.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting teams.

• Provide reporting oversight: Ensure accurate processing of financial reports, including month-end closing, monthly forecasts, and variance reports
• Control budgets and inventory: Track and manage inventories and operational expenses to maintain cost control
• Supervise payroll processing: Oversee timekeeping systems, weekly payroll submissions, gratuity calculations, and monthly payroll audits
• Handle financial transactions: Ensure proper processing of received checks, calculate daily deposit transmittals, and maintain financial records
• Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
