Job summary

Hilton is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support the hotel's financial operations in Atlanta. The role covers Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting, ensuring accurate financial data and effective internal controls.

You will resolve inquiries, assist with monthly closings, and report results to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with various finance teams to maintain accurate ledgers and ensure smooth financial operations for Hilton's hospitality

As an Accounting Analyst, you're not just supporting the hotel's financial operations - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Perform essential accounting functions: Execute tasks across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting to support financial operations
• Address questions and disputes: Research and respond to inquiries and partner with internal and external parties to resolve disputes promptly
• Participate in financial reporting: Assist with the production of monthly accounts, month-end responsibilities, and internal controls over financial data
• Assist with financial communication: Report financial results and aid in understanding financial matters for both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate for success: Build and maintain cooperative relationships with other finance and corporate departments Accounts Payable (AP) role focuses on managing vendor payments and ensuring accurate tracking of the hotel's expenses.
• Process invoices from vendors (food suppliers, housekeeping, utilities, etc.)
• Match invoices with purchase orders (POs) and receiving documents (3-way match)
• Verify accuracy of pricing, quantities, and approvals and Code invoices to the correct general ledger (GL) accounts
