Job summary

Seasats is seeking an Accounting Manager to build a scalable accounting function, elevating close quality and controls. You will report to the CFO and own core accounting operations while maturing ERP and finance infrastructure as the company grows.

In the first year, you will drive faster closes, strengthen controls, and provide leadership with accurate financial information. You will support manufacturing, government contracts, budgeting, and management reporting while building the accounting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting roles with progressive responsibility.
• Experience with audits and external financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash reconciliations, fixed assets, and other accounting operations.
• Develop procedures and internal controls for a rapidly growing company.
• Support inventory, manufacturing, cost accounting, and government contract accounting.
• Assist budgeting, cash forecasting, and management reporting.
• Participate in ERP implementation and ongoing system improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data quality.
• Help build the accounting team as Seasats grows.
